Hardware Trojan detection has been the subject of many studies in the realm of hardware security in the recent years. The effectiveness of current techniques proposed for Trojan detection is limited by some factors, process variation noise being a major one. This paper introduces latch-based structures as a self-reference detection technique which uses in-circuit path delays as golden reference models.

Vahid Amini

Vahid Amini

Vahid Amini is a Ph.D. candidate at Amirkabir University of Technology. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and M.Sc. in Computer Architecture Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Amirkabir University of Technology in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. desertion at the Computer Engineering Department. His research focuses on developing heart arrhythmia detection systems based on edge computing and IoT.

Azim Farghadan

My name is Azim Farghadan. I received my B.Sc. in Hardware Computer Engineering in 2014 working on “HEMT transistor functionality” from Birjand university, Birjand. Afterwards, I received my M.Sc. in Computer Architecture in 2016, focusing on Quantum Computing, from Shahed University, Tehran. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Amirkabir University of Technology. Seyed Hossein Malakouti

Seyed Hossein Malakouti received B.Sc. degree in electronics from RAZI University and two M.Sc in Mechatronic and Digital Electronics from Islamic Azad University, South Tehran Branch. He also ranked 2nd in Kharazmi Robotic Competition and 1st ,2nd and 3rd in IranOpen International Robotic Competition. His research interests are in neuromorphic hardware design, next generation hardware adaptation and low power edge hardware for neural networks.

Farzaneh Arzaghi

I am Farzaneh Arzaghi, a master's student at the Amirkabir University of Technology. I received my bachelor's degree in computer engineering (Hardware). My research interest is designing accelerators for machine learning algorithms with FPGAs. Generally, I like to use hardware solutions to solve AI area problems. I worked on the implementation of the LMS algorithm on the FPGA in my bachelor's. Now I work on designing a special architecture on FPGA to implement one of the incremental training algorithms with high speed on-chip.

Ali Mohammadpour received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from the Hamedan University of Technology and his M.Sc. degree from the Amirkabir University of Technology in 2017 and 2021, respectively. Mona Arabzadeh

Mona Arabzadeh received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Hardware Engineering and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Architecture from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Her research interests include quantum computing, reversible and quantum circuit synthesis and optimization. In her B.Sc. thesis, an optimization method for reversible logic was developed and the focus of her Master thesis was on the synthesis problem under the supervision of Dr. Morteza Saheb Zamani in the QDA group which resulted in a quantum-logic synthesis method and a high-level reversible logic synthesis algorithm based on quantum physical limitations.

He is now a Ph.D. candidate at Amirkabir University of Technology. He is working on trust-driven hardware design.

Marzieh Hashemipour [M.Sc]
Marzieh Hashemipour received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Hardware Engineering and her M.Sc. degree in Computer Architecture from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Both her B.A. and M.A. theses were based on the usage of High-Performance Hardware in the field of Metabolic Networks challenges. Her M.A. thesis was concentrated on Design and Implementation of Graph and Hardware-Based Algorithm for Testing EFMs in Metabolic Networks using VHDL, while her B.A. thesis was a research on Graph-Based Pathways Finding Algorithms in the Metabolic Networks.
