About AeLT

Advanced e-Learning Technologies  (AeLT) Laboratory in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Amirkabir University of Technology is a warm and friendly environment that joints faculties, researches, PhD candidates, and Master students for team works in different domains of e-learning. The main goal of this laboratory is to assist and facilitate the process of learning by supportive computerized tools and techniques. The laboratory works at the intersection of cognitive science, education and computer science by examining and enhancing learning in individual, collaborative and technological settings. The AeLT laboratory was established in 2006 by Dr. Ahmad A. Kardan at the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). He pioneered e-learning studies in Iran and has published more than 80 papers at national and international conferences, journals and as chapters for related books.
