  • Introduction

Digital System Design Automation Lab

Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Quantum Design Automation (QDA) are two main research areas of this lab.   (For more information, please refer to the EDA and QDA websites.)

In the EDA Lab, tools, methods, and algorithms used for physical design of digital circuits, including application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are studied.

In the QDA Lab, synthesis and optimization, simulation and emulation, and physical design of quantum circuits are the main research topics.

Securing digital ICs, bioinformatics, systems biology and synthetic biology are among other research topics of this lab.

 



Industrial projects:

  1. Automatic tool for layout synthesis (ATLAS)
  2. FPGA chip design
  3. RFID reader design

Academic tool:

-          RCViewer+: A viewer/analyzer for reversible and quantum circuits (developed jointly with FPGA lab).
