Hamed Farbeh is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic-AUT), Tehran, Iran. He joined AUT in October 2017. He is the founder and director of Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory (CPS-Lab) and the director of Internet-of-Things (IoT) Research Center in AUT. He was with the Embedded Computing Laboratory (ECL), KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea, as a Visiting Researcher from October 2014 to May 2015 and collaborated with the Institute of Research for Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Tehran, Iran, as Postdoc fellow from May 2017 to January 2018. He was also the head of the Dependable Systems Laboratory (DSL), Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran, from April 2017 to February 2018 and a member of DSL from 2007 to 2017. He has authored and co-authored over thirty papers in reputed journals and conferences and served as reviewer for several journals including the IEEE TC, IEEE TCAD, IEEE TR, IEEE TNS, IEEE TVLSI, IEEE TDMR, IEEE Access, ACM TECS, Elsevier MR, and Springer SUPE. His current research interests include Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet-of-Things (IoT), computer architecture, emerging memory technologies, and storage systems.
